KJo to be blamed for Fawad's career choices?

It appears that our prince charming has found a mentor in Bollywood!

Entertainment Desk July 30, 2015
Apparently KJo asked Fawad Khan to bow out of Battle for Bittora saying it won't do any good to his career.

Fawad Khan cited date issues as the reason behind his exit from Battle For Bittora but a latest report in Bollywoodlife tells a different story.

According to this report, Karan Johar has started mentoring Fawad Khan and apart from Kapoor and Sons -- starring Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra alongside Fawad -- the director has roped the actor in another Dharma film. Though the official announcement is yet to be made, it is being said that Kangana Ranaut and Fawad would star in the lead roles.

Bollywoodlife quoted a as confirming that KJo advised Fawad to reject Battle for Bittora because he thought that the film produced by Sonam Kapoor's sister Rhea won’t do justice to Fawad's budding career in Bollywood.

Fawad not only rejected the lead role in Battle for Bittora, he also refused to sign a Sohail Khan film due to script issues and declined Ramesh Taurani’s offer to star in his daughter Sneha’s directorial debut.

Fawad seems to be making some cautious decisions with his recent choice of roles. There is no doubt about KJo has given Bollywood many superstars. From re-launching Rani Mukherjee in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan in Student of the Year, the director has made a significant contribution to India cinema.

Whether it's true or not is yet to be ascertained but going by the successful careers of all these actors, we hope Fawad really is taking KJo's advice seriously.
