LAHORE:

A four-days-old at Jinnah Hospital was located three hours after he was reported missing on Thursday.

Rafiullah, a resident of Hanjarwal, had raised an alarm alleging that his newborn son had gone missing. “He and his wife kept crying for two hours,” one of the witnesses told The Express Tribune.

The hospital administration later provided CCTV footage showing Rafiullah’s mother carrying the baby while his mother was asleep.

Medical Superintendent Dr Ziaullah said that the alarm was the result of a misunderstanding. “The baby has been found. He is safe and with the family,” he said.

Rafiullah said that he had feared that the baby had been kidnapped. “We have found the baby He is safe and healthy,” he said.
