Faraway: Two houses burgled on outskirts

The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws

Two houses were burgled and a man was arrested on weapons charges in the Lohi Bher police limits on Wednesday.


In the first incident, Zeeshan Shafiq, a resident of Bahria Town, lodged a complaint with the Lohi Bher police that unidentified thieves entered his house by climbing boundary wall and looted cash, jewellery, prize bonds, a laptop and other valuables worth Rs2 million. Meanwhile, Muhammad Shoaib, a resident of Swan Garden, reported to the same police that thieves had stolen cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs700,000 from his house.


The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws.
