India to consider Kasab's extradition

NEW DELHI:

External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said that New Delhi will decide the handing over of Ajmal Kasab to Pakistan after his trial ends in India.


On Friday, Pakistan handed over 6 dossiers to India which included demand for Kasab's custody so that his confessional statement could be used in the ongoing 26/11 trial in Pakistan.


An Anti Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi had issued warrants for Ajmal Kasab and Fahim Ansari in the Mumbai attacks case.
