New facility: JPMC set to inaugurate new ICU
16-bed ICU has been completed and the capacity has been expanded to 110 beds
KARACHI:
An intensive care unit (ICU) has been established in the chest medicine department of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) under public-private partnership, which will be inaugurated on June 10. JPMC chest department head Professor Dr Nadeem Ahmed Rizvi said that the 16-bed ICU has been completed and the capacity has been expanded to 110 beds. The modern ICU has been equipped with facilities that cost Rs25 million.
