With health and sanitary code violations common at Pakistani restaurants, there are rising concerns in the country over cleanliness and food safety practices at local eateries.

The recent death of a teenager in Karachi after eating an 'unfit' burger exposed the gravity of the situation; however, very little is done to improve the country’s food safety regime.

The Express Tribune is running a survey to collect data about people’s preferences when eating out. The results will be published as part of an upcoming article.
