Drone kills 6 militants in Waziristan

The house was flattened, killing six militants, including foreigners, and injuring two others

Six suspected militants were killed and two others injured in a US drone strike in the Shawal Valley of North Waziristan Agency Monday night.


“Pilot-less aircraft fired four missiles at a house and a vehicle in the Naray Zoye area of Shawal. The house was flattened, killing six militants, including foreigners, and injuring two others,” a local source told The Express Tribune by telephone.

“Six militants were killed and two others injured. They include foreign militants and those associated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan,” the source claimed. Residents rushed to the site to pull out casualties from the rubble with the drones flying overhead.

On Saturday evening, six suspected militants were killed and two injured in a drone strike in the Warokey Mandi area of Shawal.
