Rawalpindi Police have arrested 25 persons for violating renting rules, wall-chalking ban and Amplifier Act in various areas of the district.  


Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said that the Pirwadhai police arrested property owners and tenants identified as Aurangzaib, Muhammad Aseem, Mustafa and Gul Nawaz.


Waris Khan Police held Muhammad Sharif, Soaib, Saqlain Shah, Asif Masih and Imtiaz for not providing the police with the required particulars about their tenants.


Banni police arrested house owner Waris and tenant Tariq for violation of Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Ordinance 2015.


Taxila police apprehended landlord Ahmed Khan, Sabir Khan, Khursheed and tenants Sajjad and others for violating renting rules.


Saddar Wah police held Imran Khan and Habibur Rehman. Gujar Khan police arrested owners identified as Zaheer Ahmed and Zaheer Akhtar.


Sadiqbad police nabbed Mahmood and Suleman on violation of the renting rules.


Meanwhile, Saddar Wah police filed cases against Hassan Mujtaba on violating ban on wall-chalking.
