MULTAN:

TMO Mushtaq Malik said on Saturday that district authorities had sealed seven hotels in the district after raiding them following a directive by DCO Zahid Saleem.

DCO Saleem said a district-wide survey conducted by the authorities had revealed that over 300 residences were being used as hotels and guesthouses. He said the proprietors of the accommodations had obtained stay orders from courts that had expired on March 28. Saleem said the authorities would continue to pursue the matter. He said more raids would be carried out for this purpose.
