KARACHI: Ambassador of Tajikistan Sherali S Janonov and Pakistan Federation of Chambers and Industry (FPCCI) President Mian Muhammad Adrees have agreed to enforce several measures in order to boost bilateral trade between the two countries. In a meeting with the office-bearers and various stakeholders, the Tajik envoy said that Pakistani entrepreneurs should exploit Tajik market despite the fact Chinese and Indian manufacturers have captured the biggest chunk of Central Asian States markets. The FPCCI chief announced to form a Joint Business Council as a priority measure while a large trade delegation would visit Dushanbe tentatively in May this year besides holding a single country exhibition there. “As a first step, the Pak-Tajikistan Business Council would be formed and then all issues would be taken up through this forum in order to jack-up bilateral trade of the two countries.”
