Light is right

Darker colours can make your lips look smaller than they are. A light shade on the other hand makes your lips look lush.

Avoid plums and wines and opt for neutrals, light pinks or shades in warm tones like oranges and reds to make your lips look fuller. Think Anushka Sharma's colour palette from PK.

 

High shine

Instead of a matte finish, go for lipsticks that provide sheen to your lips. Work some physics into your lips, and play along with light as shinier means bigger.
