Senior fighters have encouraged wives and mothers to photograph their children in IS branded merchandise, show them graphic images of their 'Holy War' and read them bed time stories about the death and destruction in Iraq and Syria.

The regime has also encouraged the younger generation onto the front like in clear violation of all human norms and values. A young boy seen photographed at a checkpoint in Syria was described by the IS as "our youngest lion."
