Prizes not promises: Gifts galore continues on ‘Josh Cricket World Cup Inaami Scheme’

The gift bonanza on ‘Josh Cricket World Cup Inaami Scheme’ continues with cooperation of Express Media, McDonald’s Pakistan, and Fast Food Marketing.


M Tariq Rasheed from Faisalabad won a microwave oven on giving accurate replies to two out of three questions put up for the South Africa-West Indies match. Mohommad Sajjad from Khairpur Tamiwala area of Bahawalpur won a dinner set for giving a correct answer about Australia-New Zealand match, while Imtiaz Ali of Larkana bagged a juicer-blender machine for answers regarding the Sri Lanka-England match.

Resident editor of Daily Express in Faisalabad, Express correspondent in Khairpur Tamiwala Ejaz Bhutta and bureau reporter in Larkana Mahmood Ali Pathan handed over the gifts.

The beaming winners thanked Express Publications and McDonald’s Pakistan for the gifts. They said that Express was promoting sports in society, which is a healthy trend.

Under the ‘Josh World Cup ka aur Inaam Express, McDonald’s kay’ scheme, numerous gifts can be won by answering three simple questions via SMS before the start of matches.

Winners are selected through a lucky-draw. Gifts include motorcycles, refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, LCD TV, air-conditioners and many other items.

Results of the lucky-draw are published each day in The Express Tribune, Daily Express and Sindh Express.
