Training visit: Sindh AG tells officers to modernise

KARACHI: Young officers must ensure expertise in new accounting systems, Sindh accountant-general (AG) Ahsan Ali Kehar said on Tuesday during a training visit of the officers of the 41st specialised training programme of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PAAS) to his office. They were accompanied by the PAAS director-general and were received with a parade. The officers were further informed about the nature of the work of the Sindh AG and district accounts offices. A survey regarding the performance of the AG office’s monitoring and evaluation cell, which oversees the payments of district accounts offices.
