Police arrest terrorists planning attack on PM

The police arrested two suspected terrorists, who were planning to attack on PPP Foundation Day gathering in Sukkur.

Excise Police on Tuesday arrested two terrorists who were planning to attack Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani at the Pakistan People’s Party foundation day ceremony that took place in Sukkur earlier in the day.

Speaking at a press conference, Director Excise said the terrorists Umar Shah and Jahangir Shah belonged to Kohat.

They were arrested during a routine check on Shikarpur road in Quetta.

A huge cache of weapons and 40kg of drugs were also recovered from the suspected terrorists.
