The embassy of Brazil held a certificate distribution ceremony for students of the embassy’s Portuguese language course, said a press release.

Ambassador of Brazil Alfredo Leoni handed over certificates to 16 students. A total of 120 students have graduated from the course since its inception in 2012.

The language course is part of the bilateral cooperation in education sector. The embassy also runs an exchange programme for undergraduate and graduate Pakistani students.

The embassy will offer the course again in March. The course has basic, intermediate and advanced levels, and is free.  The duration of each level is six months. Classes take place at the embassy in the afternoon from Monday to Thursday. Applications are available at the embassy’s website.
