KARACHI: A police inspector was among seven policemen dismissed from service on Tuesday for demanding bribes. Those dismissed were posted to two police stations in Clifton Town — Darakhshan police station and Gizri police station. Though their names were not disclosed, they included a sub-inspector, two head constables and four constables. The orders for dismissal were issued by Clifton SP Fida Hussain. Talking to The Express Tribune, SP Hussain said that they had been dismissed after they were found to be involved in harassing people and demanding bribes.
