HARIPUR: A reference was held in Haripur to pay tribute to the late human rights activist and founder of Rural Development Project (RDP) Abrar Hussain Shah on Sunday. Speakers at the event pledged to work for the protection of rights of children, women and labourers.  Social scientist Muhammad Ahsan Khan lauded the services of Shah by calling him a visionary. “Making women financially independent, ending custodial torture and gender-based violence are some of the movements he started and helped his comrades launch them in Hazara.”
