Head-on collision: One killed in accident

Two of the injured still remain unidentified.

DI KHAN:


A man was killed and eleven others were injured in a collision between a flying coach and truck in Ramak on Sunday.


According to a Parawan police official, the collision occurred due to intense fog which has covered the district for the past few days. The flying coach was en route to Tonsa when it collided with an approaching truck, added the official.


Khazar Abbas, an employee of Chashma Sugar Mill, died in the accident. The injured, identified as Ghulam Shabbir, Faisal Jawed, Rehmatullah, Muhammad Anwar, Muhammad Zoman, Muhammad Suleman, Dasthar, Qadir Bakhsh, and Zubair, were shifted to DI Khan District Headquarters and Teaching Hospital. Two of the injured remained unidentified till filing of this report. Zubair was later shifted to Multan, Punjab for further medical assistance.


Further investigation into the accident is under way.
