Hashish seized: Smuggling bid foiled in Kohat

KOHAT: Two drug peddlers were arrested and 441 kilogrammes of hashish were impounded during routine checking at a check post on Tuesday.

Kohat DPO Saleem Marwat said the hashish was being smuggled from Orakzai Agency to Peshawar. Police intercepted the truck at Marai check post following a tip-off and arrested Ashiq Khan and Shakir Khan. A case has been registered and further investigation into the matter is under way.
