ISLAMABAD:

Days after Punjab’s former law minister Rana Sanaullah ruled out involvement of PML-N workers in clashes with PTI and killing one of its workers in Faisalabad, the latter presented graphic evidence against the claim and demanded his arrest.

“We are showing this to prove that Rana Sanaullah was involved in the entire episode and it [Faisalabad] was a planned killing operation of the PML-N,” said the party’s information secretary, Dr Shireen Mazari.

She shared videos and pictures of a PML-N meeting – which allegedly took place at circuit house, before the December 8 protest – to prove that the ruling party’s workers were involved in the clashes.

During the briefing, Habib pointed out Rana Shaheryar [son-in-law of Rana Sanaullah], Attique Ansari, Mian Ayaz [business partner], Jamal Dogar, Sheikh Qaiser, Nadeem Mughal, Parvez Jutt took part in the PML-N meeting and were also present during clashes with the PTI workers.

“We have lodged an FIR against Rana Sanaullah and there cannot be free and fair investigations until he is arrested,” Dr Mazari said.

Twenty-three-year-old Haq Nawaz was shot dead allegedly by an unidentified PML-N worker during the PTI’s Faisalabad shutdown.

“Rana Sanaullah has links with proscribed organisations. He has his own militant wing and after investigations his links with Raymond Davis case will also surface,” she claimed.

Dr Mazari further said the ruling PML-N has disassociated itself from the perpetrators of violence in Faisalabad and if this is the case, then the party should also ‘immediately arrest Rana Sanaullah’.

She demanded that the role of bureaucracy and police during the incident should also be investigated.

There will be no fighting in Lahore inshAllah, because there is no Rana Sanaullah. The thing is that Rana Sanaullah might not be that bad but his party only wants fingers to be pointed on him and not on Sharif family and the closed ones. Just see the example of Abid Sher Ali only clarifying he and Sharif's are not involved, he never meant that whole PMLN is not involved. Point to ponder for Talal Ch and Rana Sanaullah.
