Brotherly ties: ‘Pakistan needs to learn from Turkey’

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Mehtab Khan said cordial relations between Pakistan and Turkey could contribute significantly towards resolving the former’s socioeconomic problems. He was addressing a dinner arranged by the Turkey’s honorary consul general Salim Saifullah Khan on Tuesday. The event was held to celebrate the Republic Day of Turkey. “Turkey is one success story that Pakistan needs to learn from,” he added. Also speaking at the dinner, Turkey’s Ambassador Sadiq Babur Girgin said the people of Turkey want to see a peaceful and progressive Pakistan.
