Tremors Felt: K-P jolted by earthquake

PESHAWAR: Various areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa were jolted by tremors on Friday afternoon. An official of the meteorological department said tremors measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale were reported in Swat, Malakand and other parts of K-P around 12:58pm. He added the epicentre of the earthquake was 232 kilometres deep in Badakhshan, Afghanistan. No loss of life or property was reported till the filing of this report.
