Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday vowed to provide a polio-free environment to the new generation.


He was chairing a meeting to review arrangements against polio.


He said every individual in society would have to contribute to the fight against the virus. He said security would be provided to vaccination teams.


He said arrangements should be made to vaccinate children at entrances and exits of cities. He directed the Punjab Information Technology Board chairman to prepare a dashboard of polio on the pattern of dengue fever. Minister of State for Health Saira Afzal Tarar, Prime Minister’s Focal Person on Polio Ayesha Raza Farooq, Adviser to Chief Minister on Health Khwaja Salman Rafique attended the meeting.
