The Government College University (GCU) will be organising a three-day book fair at the Oval Ground from October 27 to October 29.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Government College University Chief Librarian Abdul Waheed said that 45 international publishers would participate in the fair.
He said they would offer up to 50 per cent discount each on their books.
He said the fair was being organised on the direction of Government College University Vice Chancellor Muhammad Khaleequr Rahman.
Waheed said over 300,000 books would be exhibited at the fair.
He said the fair would be inaugurated on October 27 and a closing and a prize distribution ceremony would be held at Bukhari Auditorium on October 29.
Waheed said scores of poets and writers had been invited to attend the fair.
