MUZAFFARABAD:

While addressing the protesters Media Adviser to AJK Prime Minister Shaukat Javid said that world community should put pressure on India to ensure the sanctity of LoC and working boundary.

Vice-Chairman International Forum for Justice and Human Rights (IFJHR) Nisar Ahmad Khan said that UN officials should visit the LoC and present the actual situation before the world that how India has been violating the ceasefire while targeting the civil population in Nakyal and Dara Sherkhan areas for the last 10 days.

“We demand the UN, European Union, human rights organisations and Organisation of Islamic Countries to put pressure on India to stop the shelling on the civilians,” said Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ghazali. The protesters presented a memorandum to the UNMOGIP officials.

@SyedPk: Please do not delude people that the Kashmir issue, as it stands for Pakistan. It is a struggle for control of the waters. Let say factually, we open the borders and let as many Kashmiris as they want to go to Pakistan, would you be happy then?

Kashmir is not only populated by Kashmiri Muslims as it is portrayed. It is also populated by ladakhis and Pandits.

As for even Kashmiri Muslims, a majority of them are shias. What is the guarantee that they will be treated better than those already in Pakistan?

This is only a struggle for control of the rivers that is what it is. Please portray it accordingly.

@The delusional indian commentator above.

Grow up. Your military occupation of Kashmir cannot go on, you are loosing ur grip thats why u are provoking a fight with pakistan, to blame pakistan for that. Kashmir across india want independance u can judge it from the kashmir students fiasco this year when they were attacked an expelled for supporting pakistan. Pakistan army is busy om the western border cause of the raw supported cronies, the Indian military wants to divert the attention just to save their assets. Your country is a curse for the whole region.
