Shariah and law: IIUI head announces new block

President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has announced the building a new academic block for students of the Faculty of Shariah and Law (FSL).


Speaking on the occasion of visiting the campus, Dr Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh said the university was mulling over building a new block for the students of the faculty as a number of foreign and local students have shown immense interest for admission in the faculty.


He urged students to devote themselves to their studies and advised them to work for the dissemination of justice in the society after they pass out from the institution.


“Young students are the precious asset of an Ummah which associates hopes with them,” he was quoted in a press release as saying. The varsity president was briefed about the activities at the FSL by Dean Dr Tahir Hakeem.
