ISLAMABAD:

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has established more than 200 tax facilitation centres to assist taxpayers in filing income tax returns for tax year 2014.

The centres have been established throughout the country at key places like business centres, shopping malls, offices of traders’ associations, chambers of commerce, national and provincial assembly buildings, press clubs and the Federal Secretariat and Civil Secretariat in all provincial capitals, says a press release.

Knowledgeable and competent officials have been deputed to guide and assist the taxpayers in filing tax returns at the kiosks. They will educate the taxpayers and help them fill properly the tax declarations.

The prescribed forms for tax returns and wealth statements are also available at these centres.
