The central bank further advised banks and financial institutions to observe separate business hours for public dealing during Ramazan.

Under these arrangements, banking hours for public dealing will be from 9am to 2pm from Monday to Thursday, without a break. On Fridays, public dealing hours will be from 9am to 12:30pm, without a break.

The SBP said that following the conclusion of Ramazan, the revised timings will automatically revert to the pre-Ramazan schedule, without the need for any further notification.
