Crime against children: Rapist sentenced to 16 years in prison

On Thursday, the court found Arsalan guilty and sentenced him to 16 years in prison.

SARGODHA: A court on Thursday sentenced a man to 16 years rigorous imprisonment for raping an eight-year-old boy. According to prosecution, Arsalan had abducted the boy on his way home from school on July 11, 2012. He took him to a deserted building and raped him. He was taken into custody after the child’s uncle registered a complaint with the Urban Area police. On Thursday, the court found Arsalan guilty and sentenced him to 16 years in prison. He was also fined Rs20,000.
