Road accident: Collision kills three passengers

NAWABSHAH: Three passengers, including a woman, were killed when a van ran into a tree near Chhuta Stop on Daur Road in Nawabshah. Passengers said that the van was coming from Hyderabad when the driver saw hurdles on the road and four armed bandits standing nearby. He attempted to divert the van, but ran into a roadside tree, killing two passengers on the spot and injuring another three. Those killed were identified as Muhammad Ateeq Arain and Abdul Sattar Baloch. The injured, Shahid, Shahid and Musarrat, were rushed to Peoples Medical University Hospital where Musarrat succumbed to her injuries.
