GUJRANWALA:

A man who recently returned from Saudi Arabia killed his wife and two daughters for honour in Sialkot on Sunday.

A police spokesman said Muhammad Arif, a resident of Galla Bansanwala near Sialkot Bypass, came back to Pakistan from Saudi Arab a few days ago.

He said the man took a signed ‘letter’ from his brothers-in-law and sons-in-laws, saying they did not object.

Residents of the area said Maria and Zubia often stayed at their friend’s house.

He said Arif was unhappy about it and planned to kill them after taking written permission from his relatives that they would not seek legal proceeding against him.

Police said Arif had been missing since he shot them and fled. They said teams had been formed to find him.

They said family of the victims had not contacted them to register a case and the police was investigating.

The fact that murder of a wife and children is a subject of honour is the sine qua non for barbarous psychopathy ! Respect for Islam is the metaphorical condemnation of politically correct poltroons!
