Senior journalist Kamran Khan resigns from Geo
He announced his decision to resign from GeoTV during his show on Thursday night.
His Geo TV colleague Maria Memon, confirmed the news.

Kamran Khan, who has been associated with the Jang Group and GeoTV for over 30 years, resigned from the network on Thursday.
Murtaza Ali Shah, a reporter for Geo News in London, also tweeted that the senior journalist has resigned, hinting that he may join a rival television network.

Shah, quoted Khan as saying that he is proud of having work for the group for 32 years.

I am fully convinced that GEO is anti Pakistan and all pro-pakistan people should jump from the sinking ship.

@MK: Kamran Khan couldn't face the moral dilemma of current salary at geo and offered salary at BOL. All other moral dilemmas are irrelevant for Pakistani journalists.
Geo is indeed a sinking ship now. Since they have compromised on the basic principles of fair journalism, a sensible person like Kamran Khan, has made the right decision to leave them.

I thought he didnt work for MSR and MKR.... that it was a well run organisation and the owners were not involved and blah blah blah....

Expect more people to jump ship. GEO is a sinking ship. After what they have done in the past with irresponsible, tabloid journalism, anti-Pak agenda, accepting funding from foreign countries and not paying any taxes; it serves them right.
It's take of rivalry between money hungry media houses.Its not for any principle matter-who cares irresponsible journalism here or there.
