Under attack: Blast damages school in Mattani

Unidentified men plant a homemade bomb in the school, cause widespread panic among the residents.

PESHAWAR: A government primary school was damaged in a bomb blast in Mohalla Tokar Khel in the jurisdiction of Mattani police station, Peshawar on Wednesday night. According to the police, unidentified men planted a homemade bomb in the school and it destroyed the boundary wall when it exploded. One room of a house adjacent to the school was also damaged.  The explosion caused widespread panic among the residents. Another girls’ school nearby had already been blown up a few years ago.
