Actor Brad Pitt will be George Clooney’s best man at his wedding. The Monuments Men actor is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Amal Alamuddin later this year. We’d rather get wedding details from Clooney himself but this news of Pitt being chosen as the best man is coming from his Aunt Starla, who spoke to the Daily Mail, after Clooney attended a family reunion.
“I would say he’d choose Brad Pitt for his best man. They are good friends, I would think that’s who he’d choose,” said Starla, reports Esquire magazine. Two of the four most famous men in the world, side by side, in the same wedding party. Is that really going to happen? Or has aunt Starla watched Ocean’s Eleven one too many times?
But then again, it seems completely plausible because the duo has been very close for a very long time. They have carried on an admirable genuine brother-like bond for years now, therefore, Clooney choosing his Hollywood friend over some family member as his best man isn’t all that surprising.
She also revealed her nephew is set to marry the 36-year-old lawyer in Italy, with his parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, planning a trip to Europe to help with the wedding preparations for his big day, reported IANS.
