FCCI President said it was encouraging that most of our budget proposals have been included in the budget documents.

FAISALABAD:

Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and other leading trade organisations have categorically termed Federal Budget 2014-15 as people and business friendly that will help in streamlining the national economy in a permanent and sustained manner.

FCCI president Engineer Suhail Bin Rashid said that the federal budget seems to be acceptable to all as the government has tried its best to make reasonable increase in salaries and pensions of government employees without putting additional burden on the low socio-economic classes.

He said that the expert panel has noted down important anomalies and would give its critical and analytical view after fully examining the Finance Bill and various SROs to be issued by the FBR.

However, he said that it was encouraging that most of our budget proposals have been included in the budget documents.

He also asked the trade bodies to point out any anomalies and irritants immediately so they can be rectified before the passage of the Finance Bill.
