Diagnostic facility: DUHS opens laboratory collection point at city courts

The collection point will provide reliable, high quality and timely diagnostic services at economical rates.

KARACHI:

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) inaugurated a collection point of Dow Diagnostic Research and Reference Laboratory at the city courts premises on Friday.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the DUHS pro-vice-chancellor said that the university was committed to providing good quality healthcare to citizens. The collection point, which will be located at the Amin Lakhani Memorial Clinic at the city courts, will provide reliable, high quality and timely diagnostic services at economical rates.

The centre was jointly inaugurated by Justice Azizur Rahman, Justice Farooq Ali Channa Gorar and the registrar, Prof Dr Nadeem Shaikh.

Prof Farooq was of the view that it was hard for judges and advocates to take out time to go for medical checkups and that the collection point would save precious time. Justice Azizur Rahman and Justice Farooq Ali Channa Gorar praised the efforts of DUHS n establishing the collection point at the city courts.
