ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said the successful auction of 3G and 4G spectrums had opened up new world of exploration and achievements. He said the much delayed initiative has brought to Pakistan the cutting edge technology that will help the nation achieve new frontiers of advancement. “My most earnest congratulation to the people who have made this possible,” the prime minister said. He said the team led by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and IT Minister Anusha Rehman made this possible in a transparent and most competitive manner, a statement from the PM House said. Not only would the adoption of the technology improve service delivery in every area but would open up new opportunities for employment, business and income generation, he said.
