Linkage: ‘Telecom infrastructure in Neelum Valley soon’

The Special Communication Organisation (SCO) is planning to lay telecommunication infrastructure in Neelum Valley of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to link it with the rest of the country.


SCO officials said this while talking to a delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) AJK chapter, led by its Secretary-General Shah Ghulam Qadir who called on them at the SCO headquarters in Rawalpindi.

The SCO officials said that they have already provided telephone facilities to the people in Shadra, Kel and Athmuqam and very soon it would be extended to Taubutt in Neelum Valley.

The SCO officials said that landline telephony, cellular phones, DSL and LDI services will also be provided to the people in Neelum Valley.

Qadir lauded the SCO’s services in providing the state-of-the art telecommunication facilities to the people in AJK and other mountainous regions.
