KARACHI:

The Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) has postponed the continental U21 Championship for an indefinite period after hosts India failed to provide No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several countries, including Pakistan.

The Asian U21 Championship was scheduled to be played from April 4-10 in Mohali, India. The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) had work tirelessly to get the NOC. However, they were told by their Indian counterparts that they have not been able to get approval from their government.

The new dates and venue of the championship will now be decided by the ACBS Board in the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
