PESHAWAR:

IGP Nasir Khan Durrani expressed concern on Wednesday over the slow progress of infrastructure development for Torghar police who were working in makeshift tents.

During his visit to Torghar, the IGP directed the RPO Hazara to expedite under-construction projects and to arrange containers for the accommodation of the constabulary for as long as it takes to complete construction. The IGP also made his way to Kohistan on the same day.

Durrani visited the police lines, police stations and bordering posts of both districts and expressed his pleasure at the morale and operational readiness of police personnel deployed at border posts.
