Hi-tech: Nanotechnology Foundation to be established soon

Ministry was planning to set up a centralised national research facility for developing nanotechnologies and products.

In order to keep up with the rapid technological advancement, a foundation for nanotechnology will be established soon to build international, public and private collaboration and alliances with strategic partners in order to acquire new technologies.


The Pakistan Foundation for Nanotechnology would formulate five and 10-year plans for nanotechnology and help entrepreneurs set up new companies and move successful innovations to technological clusters, an official of the Ministry of Science and Technology said.


“In the past few years, the application of fundamental discoveries has developed multi-billion-dollar product lines,” he said.


The official said the ministry was planning to set up a centralised national research facility for developing nanotechnologies and products.

ishrat salim | 10 years ago | Reply Since devolving education dept to the Provinces after 18th amendment, the quality of education graph has literally gone down.....ghost schools are still there, and many schools have been forcibly occupied by the waderas / landlords of the area.....the whole Country need super cleaners & top to toe wash down with extra high concentrate of CLOROX.....this is only possible if someone like Khomeini emerges from amongst us.....
