The first two-day “Finland-Pakistan Business Summit” will start in the federal capital on Tuesday.


The participating companies from Finland, both large corporations and small and medium enterprises, are looking for business opportunities in Pakistan, said a press release.


The summit will also provide an opportunity for Pakistani companies to seek access to Finland and other Nordic markets.


“Pakistan and Finland have a lot to offer to each other and business people are really having the key role to run new development in the whole society and cooperate with governments of both the countries to strengthen the bilateral relations,” it said. The summit will also discuss academia’s role in promoting scientific and technological research.
