Attack on Bara Qadeem check post

A milita­nt was killed and a police­man injure­d after an attack on the Bara Qadeem check post in Peshaw­ar.

PESHAWAR: A militant was killed and two people were injured after an attack on the Bara Qadeem check post in Peshawar on Wednesday.

According to Express 24/7 reporter Iftikhar Firdous, the militant was killed as a result of an exchange of fire erupted after militants attacked the check post, two other militants managed to escape after the attack.

Security personnel cordoned off the and started a search operation.

The Bara Qadeem check post, located on Bara Road, leads to the tribal belt of the Khyber Agency and has been a target of two suicide attacks in the past.
