Hottie of the week: Shahzad Sheikh

Status: Married

Born: Karachi

Birthday: 26th September, 1982

Who is he?

Actor Shahzad Sheikh is a force to be reckoned with. Hailing from a family of acting maestros like Javed Sheikh, Saleem Sheikh and Behroze Sabzwari, all eyes have been on him to see if his talent is tantamount to theirs. And he inarguably shows great promise. By delivering well-received performances in drama serials Dreamers and Halki si Khalish and film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi, Shahzad has established his own identity in the industry. The actor shares that he faced criticism when he stepped foot in the profession but it only made him more focused. With acting in his blood and an indomitable will to excel, Shahzad is an inspiration for acting novices. And the cherry on the cake is that he is uber handsome and trendy!

Why we love him

With his boyish charm and innocent eyes, Shahzad captivates his fans and we wouldn’t be surprised if they are mostly females! His humility and pleasant personality make him a total knockout. We truly respect the passion that he has for his work. We admire sincerity in a man and Shahzad’s sentiments for his wife, Hina depict his genuineness: “Luckily, I have found my ideal woman — my wife. She’s my strength, my love and my best friend.  I couldn’t have asked for more!” says Shahzad. An avid learner, Shahzad draws inspiration from everywhere and everyone. He considers himself to be a positive individual, which we feel is an imperative trait, especially in these trying times!

What you didn’t know about him

Shahzad’s idea of adventure is jumping out of a plane... with a parachute. He detests lies and loves honesty and kindness. A city-lover, his favourite holiday destination is New York. Back home, he loves to go the beach. Shahzad tells us that had he not been in the acting profession, he would have been in advertising. And his favourite food is anything that his father cooks! Now, isn’t that adorable, ladies?
