Murder case: Three men sentenced to life imprisonment

Additional Sessions Judge Qazi Sohail Shiraz also ordered a fine of Rs10,000 to them.

A court awarded life imprisonment to three criminals who were charged with kidnapping and murdering a 16-year-old girl from Ramait village of Bahrain tehsil.


According to the Bahrain police, Akbar Hussain, Raheem Gul and Dawlat Mand murdered a resident of the area after kidnapping her on September 1, 2012.

After the murder, they threw the body in a stream, where the police found it. Investigation led to the eventual arrest of the culprits. On Friday, Additional Sessions Judge Qazi Sohail Shiraz ordered life imprisonment and a fine of Rs10,000 to them.

Woman commits suicide

In an unrelated incident, a woman consumed a poisonous substance and was taken to Saidu Teaching Hospital, where she died. According to Saidu Sharif Police Station, Shah Begum, wife of Kishwar Ali, committed suicide due to domestic issues. The police have started investigation and also registered a case.
