According to initial details, the blast took place near a police mobile which was on its routine patrol.
Assistant Sub Inspector Aziz Khan was injured in the blast.
The injured were taken to Lady Reading Hospital for medical attention.

Peshawar is no stranger to bloodshed. It lies on the edge of the tribal areas and has frequently been hit by bombings and shootings.
Previous blasts
On November 13, an Army convoy had escaped unhurt in a remote controlled road side bomb blast on Ring Road in Peshawar. The convoy was on its way from Hayatabad to Kohat Road. The explosion, however, had occurred when the convoy had passed and there was no damage or loss of life in the attack. The BDS had inspected the site of the explosion and said that it was a home-made low intensity device of around one kilogram.
On October 10, a blast in Achini area in Peshawar had left one person injured. A security forces vehicle was reportedly the target of the explosion. Unidentified persons had started blind firing after the blast.
On October 7, a remote-controlled bomb explosion in Peshawar had killed two police officers and injured eight others. The explosion took place near a hospital in the Budh Bher area of the city. The target of the blast was a police van which was providing security to a polio team.

the kp government is failing miserably in the province. no wonder there are rumours of pmln and jui-f forming their own government in kpk

How come didn't say a word in response. Imagine if the same people were injured in a US drone. In such a case Imran Khan would have been hot under the collar. His supports would have started shouting abuse at everyone even our elderly.
PTI has depoliticized the police in kpk. This is a rare example in Pakistan. Let's hope this step will improve the performance of police in the province with time.
