Sattar Khizri Baloch was arrested from Mughal Pura Railway Colony and Uzairullah was arrested in a separate raid at a hotel in Anarkali.
The two raids were carried out by the Karachi police with support from the Lahore police.
These two notorious criminals were involved in incidents of target killing and extortion. It is believed that Uzairullah used to play football with his victims skulls, Express News reported.
Earlier, another infamous figure in the Lyari gang war Buledi was arrested by the Lahore police along with two of his companions, Zubair and Junaid.
He was wanted for murder, attempted murder, kidnapping for ransom and several other cases, the police said, adding that Buledi was presented before several courts in connection with different cases for remand.
Karachi operation
Three suspects accused of kidnapping for ransom and extortion were arrested today in Karachi.
The arrests were made from Karachi’s Garden and Lyari areas.
SSP Faisal Bashir during a press conference said that two of the suspects – Zahid and Kashif - belong to Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), while Zahoor was affiliated with a Lyari gang.
Bashir said five cases of murder were filed against each of the MQM suspects each.

Would like to know from our readers, what happened to the naval Intelligence gang and thier kidnapping spree? I dont have much faith in our news networks ever coming out with updates on this case. Does anyone know what is going on in this case?
Lahore? How could this be. The Paris of the East could surely not be a hotspot for terrorists and Target killers, this is just a conspiracy against PML N's years of efforts to turn Lahore into the greatest city in the universe. All lahoris must come out of their skyscrapers and protest.
Karachi extortion and kidnapping rings are much more than what is being reported. A few weeks ago we had the widely publicized episode of Naval intelligence men kidnapping a local trader and holding him in an official building, we have had FIA and Police backed extortion rings operating in the city for years, not to mention MQM, PPP, TTP, ANP backed criminals. What we need is swift and exemplary justice and punishment without any reservations. Until then this is all just lip service. Just 3 days ago 11 people were kidnapped for ransom in Karachi in separate incidents. Those are the ones that were reported. Countless others never get reported and the impacted families pay off in silence and secrecy.

Only when these caught criminal are indited and hanged and their absconded/leaders in Dubai or London or their promoters are incarcerated will we believe in the intent of govt. to cleanse the city of this menace.
Sounds like Lahore has become paradise for criminals....Most of these killers, thieves, gangsters and politicians can be located in or around Lahore.

Excellent work by the Karachi and Lahore police teams! Let us all pray that the courts dispense justice properly this time.
For me the real news will be, when these criminals and their supporters in the name of politicians were given sentences for their crime against humanity.
And they are not being kept behind bars but are hanged or shot!!!

Great news! Looks like Pak cops have had enough of these criminals! I think this was a well thought out plan from the start. The media hype of Karachi operation scared these criminals and made them come out of their safe havens in Khi's no go areas. They scattered across the country and slowly are being nabbed by the local police. I salute federal govt's policy on Karachi!
It appears progress is finally being made to restore Karachi's appalling law and order situation.
Will MQM now stop ranting.
I hope all the criminals are brought to book and not released after a few months.
