KARACHI: The target killers caught from Murree have been brought back to Karachi. It was found that these target killers belonged to Sunni Tehreek , DIG South said during a press conference, Express News reported.
These criminals were also involved in extortion and kidnapping for ransom.
The operation was carried out by the Punjab Police and Elite forces and took place on Wednesday on Mall Road.
These target killers reportedly originate from Karachi and had taken refuge in Murree from the targeted operations being carried out in the city.
Targeted operations in Karachi began on September 5, and since then more than 300 suspects have been arrested.
The Rangers are leading the operation which, they claim, is being conducted across the city.
Separately, the police have conducted 975 raids and arrested 1,232 criminals.

@Mj: I know it very well. I am trying to convey a message in an oblique manner to ET for their silly policy about using file photos. If I write it openly ET is not likely to print it. Let's see if this comment goes through moderation. This file photo is not as bad as some others which has no relevance to the story. Many people think that a file photo is related to the story in question and try to make heads and tails out it without success.

Its funny when the target killers got caught and the rangers openly announced that they belong to Sunni Tehreek but when they arrest target killers on daily bases who belong to MQM or PPP they never announce. Strange isn't it?
And the funniest part is the leader of Sunni Tehreek said "Alhamdulliah these target killers belong to us" Still they roam around openly in the city.

I am reasonably certain I have seen this same picture 5 other times in recent months in the Express Tribune in relation to arrests by the Police. How can the same man be involved in so many bad things???? Is he a big Don hiding his identity successfully, yet carrying out so much carnage??? It appears that the Police caught him red-handed in Shalwar, and bare feet with no shoes. And, all of you think that our Police does nothing but idle away in Chai-khanas!!!
Sunni Tehreek is involved, too???? We are shocked to hear this. Murree is a popular vacation spot. Maybe these people were there for holidays???? And, the Police had to bring them right back to Karachi, and spoil their vacation???? You can never count on the Police to do the right thing.

The peace of Karachi must be restored by all means, no matter who is involved in target killings, extortion of money or kidnapping for ransom.
I am thinking about the parents of these target killers, extortionists and kidnappers.
They would have all thought that their children will become honourable citizens of Pakistan, but look what these young chaps have done in the society.
Good work. Now send a force to South Africa and recover some more hardened criminals.
