Entrepreneurship training: Thousands of women to benefit

Around 8,960 women are expected to gain direct and indirect benefits from (CREW).

ISLAMABAD: Around 8,960 women are expected to gain direct and indirect benefits from `Creative Entrepreneurship for Women (CREW) Programme’. Pakistan Stone Development Company and United Nations Industrial Development Organisation plan to jointly launch the programme with the objective to empower women for business development and entrepreneurship through Marble Mosaic, Craft and Inlay training. As per agreement, GIZ will provide 0.95 million euro for establishment of two Mosaic, Craft, Inlay centres in K-P and Islamabad, transfer of technology and technical know-how, MCI curriculum development, enterprise development training and value addition.
